To engage listeners with 3FM’s activities on radio, festivals and online, we created the theme ‘Get Serious’. A theme based on their familiar pay-off ‘Serious Radio’. This is applied to initiatives where people can participate in.

In the first part of this image campaign, Serious Gigs, we let listeners be part of 3 unique pop-up concerts by artists who are closely related to 3FM.

Clues about who will be playing where, are given on radio and online. Getting there will make you part of the TVC shoot at the gig.

Waternet is a local Water supplier that doesn’t only supply water but also cleans and filters it. But on Queensday a lot of people can’t see the difference between a canal and a proper toilet.

To ensure they visit a toilet, we made peeing a bit more fun and rewarding.

Everyone could take on friends or strangers in a peeing contest. However peed the most received their watertaxes back.

Vodafone is introducing fixed fiber services for the first time in The Netherlands in a small town called Roggel. Fiber transports data with the speed of light and Vodafone wanted to see if this village was ready for such speed. To measure this we challenged them to a contest of speed with Vodafone’s fastest; Jenson Button. In the Grand Prix of Roggel the fastest of Roggel took on the fastest of Vodaone in a race through the village. Roggel in a F1 Simulator equipped with a 3D version of Roggel, Jenson Button through the streets with his world championship winning F1 Mc Laren Mercedes.

As Roggel has little over 4000 residents we couldn’t possibly invite the whole of The Netherlands. Therefore we made a documentary regarding the whole event from Roggels preparation of speed to their race with Jenson Button. Here.

O’Neill introduced the Superkini, a bikini that stays in place when you don’t. But every girl that heard or saw about the bikini didn’t believe this. So we convinced them by experience with the One Way Runway. This was a runway on a cliff in ibiza, where 12 lucky models had to jump into the ocean at its end. Underwater cameras registered live if it stayed in place or not. To end up on the Runway the girls had to upload their photo to Facebook and gain as much votes as possible. The 12 with the most votes were invited to take the Superkini to the test. From these 12 girls one was selected to become the face of O’Neill 2012 and got a contract at Next model management.

During our internship at 180/RIOT we created an online preparation experience to make the adidas marathons a richer experience for the runners. By partnering with Google Street View we offered the runners an opportunity to get tips about the route by celebrity runners and the adidas real-time-coach: miCoach.

On the route we hid some eastereggs. If you found them you would win a miCoach device or the best on-route-view for your friends and family.

Via the adidas Running Facebook we spread the word about the online experience.

During our internship at 180 Amsterdam from August 2009 – July 2010 we made this campaign to engage youngsters with the Adidas brand.
